特に温泉に興味がなくても、目にすることはたくさんあるかと思います。
実はこちらの馴染みのあるマークが変更されるかもしれません！
何でも2020年開催予定の東京オリンピックに向け、外国人観光客が困らないよう案内用図記号を国際規格（ISO）に揃えるそうです。

現在の馴染みある温泉マークは、JIS（日本工業規格）と言って日本独自のマーク。外国の方は馴染みなく、温かい料理をイメージさせてしまうらしい！
今や日本も立派な観光大国の一つ。外国人観光客の方々に分かりやすい案内を目指す上で、今回の案内用図記号を揃えることはとても良い事だと思います。
ただ、頭では分かっているのですが、温泉に携わる身としては、見慣れた温泉マークが減っていくのはちょっと寂しい・・・（笑）
